Veo 3.1 & Veo 3.1 Fast Are Now Available
AI videos in 720p/1080p, synchronized native audio, and per-second pricing

We are introducing Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast (Google) to generate realistic videos with native audio (voice, effects) in 720p or 1080p. Access is available via the official API (paid preview) and the Gemini app; billing is per second, with prices officially reduced in 2025.

  • Native audio + video. Veo 3.1 delivers richer audio (dialogue, SFX) and improved narrative control for more realistic outputs.

  • Familiar formats. Output in 720p and 1080p; support for the vertical 9:16 format introduced with Veo 3 and retained thereafter.

  • Durations: default generation is 8 seconds per clip; recent creative tools allow extending scenes (editing) for longer sequences.

Pricing

  • Veo 3.1: $0.40 / s (video + audio).
  • Veo 3.1 Fast: $0.15 / s (video + audio).

Google lowered prices in September 2025 for Veo 3/Veo 3 Fast (inherited by 3.1/3.1 Fast) and added 1080p + vertical support.
